What can one say about Coach Sib. Words can not even begin to explain the man he was, and how many lifes he touched over the years. It didn't matter if you played football, ran track, sat behind a desk in one of his classes, or behind the wheel for drivers education Coach Sib touched your life. It didn't matter what path you went down in life we all knew he was there to listen and give advise on whatever was on your ming. I have had the honor of knowing the Sibley family since I was about 15. In that time frame they went from to people I knew, to friends, now to family. Every time I went over it never was hi Coach Sib or Ms. Sibley it was allways hi mom, hi dad. When I was a senior in high school I became frustrated with a lack of playing time during the football season. The thought of just saying the heck with it, I'm done! But that's not what I did, Coach Sib was a person that thought us don't give up, sure times might get hard, but by sticking with it and not giving up makes a stronger, wiser, and better people. It was a life leason I never forgot. When I found out about this 5K walk and run to help a person that Coach Sib would have enjoyed coaching futher their education, I jumped at the chance to help. This just goes to show us all that even after his life came to early end, that this great man has still been able to help some many young men in life. I consider it a honor to help in this great cause.
